Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Monoc Securities LLC ("Monoc," "we") collects and uses information submitted through www.foci.us, the registration site for the FOCI Leadership Forum.

What we collect

When you register for Group 1, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile (if provided), your Outside Director / Proxy Holder status, the company or companies where you serve or served, the mitigation instrument involved (if provided), your areas of interest, and any needs or comments you share. When you register interest in a forming group, we collect your name, email address, job title, organization, country, the group you are interested in, your preferred meeting region (if provided), and any comments you share. We also collect standard technical data (such as IP address) for security and spam prevention.

How we use it

Your registration details are retained and used for:

• Validating your eligibility for the FOCI Leadership Forum and operating the Forum, including scheduling your validation call and sending member communications.
• Board and role placement services — connecting members with Outside Director, Proxy Holder, and related opportunities.
• Market research conducted by Monoc.
• Planning and standing up the Forum's forming groups and contacting you about them, where you have registered interest.
• The FOCI Leadership Forum email list. On the group-interest form this is a separate, optional opt-in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, our customer-relationship platform, HubSpot) under their own confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep registration information for as long as needed for the purposes above. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing paul.michaels@monoc.com or calling 703-845-8400.

Visitors in the EEA and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Monoc Securities LLC is the controller of the information you submit on this site. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process that information on the basis of your consent (which you give when submitting a form and may withdraw at any time) and, for operating and securing the service, our legitimate interests. You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of, or restriction of the processing of your personal data; to object to processing; to data portability; and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Your information is stored in the United States by us and our service providers, including HubSpot. Where personal data is transferred from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards available for those transfers, such as our providers' participation in recognized data-transfer frameworks or standard contractual clauses.
